Absolutely love the food and service add the ambiance and it never fails to impress me. The waitstaff is absolutely phenomenal.

Food is good, but maybe just a tad over-priced. Smaller menu, fresh food, seems like there's a pretty active bar during dinner. Service was attentive.

Delicious dinner spot downtown Greenville! The restaurant is split with one side being a bar and the other side being a restaurant. It can get quite noisy if you are going for dinner. We enjoyed the bangin' shrimp, grilled caesar salad, salmon, and scallops!

This restaurant is everything and worth all the hype! | Food | So many things on the menu looked great but I was trying to save room for dessert. I opted for the lobster roll that came with crispy-coated seasoned fries; both were delicious The lobster roll had nice meaty chunks of lobster in it. For desert I had the sticky toffee pudding (comes with a scoop if ice cream and drizzled caramel sauce) and it is 5+ stars! | Drinks | I started with the toasted marshmallow old fashioned and it was very nice, smooth and boozy, but just a tad too sweet for me. So I moved on to a Basil Hayden's old fashioned and it was perfect. | Service | I sat at the bar and service was impeccable; probably on of the best service experiences I've ever had a restaurant. (And to think this wasn't even a full-service sit down table). | Ambience | The bar was lively with an enthusiastic foodie and sports-watching crowd. It was easy as a solo traveler to strike up a conversation with strangers there. Earlier in the evening was better than later (which brought a younger crowd and standing-only room at the bar). Pro-tip: They offer free and convenient valet parking!

Came here last night for a friends birthday. I was so impressed. The wait staff is so attentive and lovely. The ambiance is perfect. Everything we had was amazing. I had the curry, great flavors with the perfect amount of heat. We will be back

In Greenville for the weekend celebrating our 50th anniversary so we searched the web for a memorable meal. We found Coral to have consistently outstanding reviews. We were not disappointed. The food and the service were both as good as we've experienced anywhere. We showed up without reservations but got a table quickly in the bar area, Doina took our order. She was a delight, as was the entire staff who were attentive but not intrusive. It is apparent why the service is so good as we saw all three owners leading by example, at various times assisting the host station, cleaning tables, serving water, picking up fallen napkins and checking in with the guests. Each of them visited our table at some point with a friendly welcome. As for the food, we ordered the blackened salmon and the sea scallops from the regular dinner menu. Each was perfectly prepared and presented. The Parmesan risotto was delicious. For desert, we shared a sticky toffee pudding that was equally good. To top it off, we were presented with a celebratory plate with house-made chocolates. A memorably GOOD experience to kick off our weekend of celebration...

We have been to Coral several visits in the last year. What I have taken note of is the tight ship that is ran here. The owner is a humble fella and you might see him working on the floor and checking in with his patrons often. You may have several staff combine their efforts to make sure you are tended to frequently from start to finish. In my opinion, if you want the best seafood experience in the downtown- this is one of two key places. We went with the Halibut- which I have been told by staff, that its the one item that has never come off the menu since they opened. The halibut was seasoned well and it sits on a bed of broccoli salad along with peach chutney and the entire dish is very flavorful and never disappoints. Coral is a great take and I highly recommend it.

Wow! This place had a delicious meal. I had the burrata salad and the swordfish dinner. Everything was amazing. The garlic aioli with the swordfish was on point. The broccolini and tomatoes were delicious. The pesto on the burrata added a nice flavor. John and Yuli were the best. They gave the best advice and their service and were attentive. The restaurant was clean, a good noise level, and everyone was kind.

One of the best restaurants we have been to. The bar is great and happy hour drink specials are a bargain. The dishes were all excellent. It is clear the kitchen staff pays attention to details and works with the serving staff to create a great experience for everyone. Our servers were knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. I was impressed that the owner was present and visited us a few times. Adding a few pics from our second visit to the bar with amazing bar menu dishes

Have been to coral many times and it never disappoints. The happy hour is always great at the bar area. By far their coconut espresso martini keeps me coming back - it is SO good and worth the hype that it gets. Their seafood is all so delicious too- fresh oysters and great fish dishes. Always very pleased. Probably the closest GVL has to a high end Charleston style seafood restaurant. Their desserts are SO good and creative and always changing. The pastry chef is very talented! They do great with making bdays and celebrations special. Really cute atmosphere and perfect for a nice night out downtown
